Celebrate Women – International Women's Day, Inspiring Women & Girlfriends!

Come on girlfriends – let’s celebrate! It’s International Women’s Day, Women’s History Month and we’ve got a community of inspiring women!

Each year around the world, International Women’s Day (IWD) is celebrated on March 8. Hundreds of events occur not just on this day but throughout March to mark the economic, political and social achievements of women.

In honor of Women’s Day, take a moment and think back to the women who have inspired so many, taught us amazing lessons and even fought for your rights. Honor the women in your life – your mom, aunts, sisters, teachers, FRIENDS – who have been there for you and have believed in you.

Women’s History Month – Who inspired you?

More feminine festivities! We’re celebrating the women in history who have inspired us and countless other women. First up, an Olympic star who overcame obstacles to win and inspire – WILMA RUDOLPH. Including inspiration from her quote:

“No matter what accomplishments you make in life, somebody helps you.”

And Nobel Peace Prize winner (one of only seven women who’ve won it), JODY WILLIAMS who encourages us all to be activist in even little ways. She believes:

“What separates an ordinary woman from an extraordinary one? The belief that she is ordinary.”
